Cornerback/kick returner Leodis McKelvin agreed to a four-year, $20 million deal to remain with the Buffalo Bills.
Fox Sports reported Saturday that McKelvin's deal will make him the highest-paid returner. He is reportedly guaranteed $7.5 million.
McKelvin, 27, would have been an unrestricted free-agent when the signing period begins Tuesday.
He averaged an NFL-high 18.7 yards per punt return and 28.3 yards on kickoff returns.
The 2008 first round draft choice started four games at cornerback and 13 overall.
