Guard/center Andre Gurode was signed by the Chicago Bears, who placed right guard Lance Louis on injured reserve Monday.
The Bears also waived defensive tackle Amobi Okoye and made several changes to their practice squad, signing offensive lineman Derek Dennis and wide receiver Dale Moss and terminating the contracts of wide receiver Raymond Radway and guard Chris Riley.
Gurode is a 10-year veteran who has started 127 of 151 career games. A second-round pick by the Dallas Cowboys in 2002, he last played for the Baltimore Ravens in 2011, starting five of 13 games at left guard. Gurode is a five-time Pro Bowl player and twice was named All-Pro as a center for the Cowboys.
Okoye had just seven tackles and one sack while seeing action in six games. The 25-year-old was a first-round pick by the Houston Texans in 2007 and appeared in 22 games for the Bears over the past two years.
