When the free agency period starts at 12:01 a.m. Monday, the Memphis Grizzlies won't have to worry about Jerryd Bayless jumping ship.
On Sunday, the Grizzlies' back-up guard exercised his $3.1 million option to return to Memphis, which caused eyebrows to be raised in some circles, according to ESPN. Leading up to free agency, many believed he the 24-year-old would opt out and seek a more lucrative contract.
