Aroldis Chapman: Officially Named Closer Staff

Update: The Reds announced Friday that Chapman will close this season, John Fay of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Recommendation: Chapman made it known last week that he wants to remain a closer, and the Reds will keep him in that role in 2013. The team had planned to move the lefty into the rotation to maximize his value, but in the end, it seems the potential risk outweighed the reward. Chapman is expected to be a top closer in fantasy baseball this season, but Jonathan Broxton, who was paid $21 million this offseason, will have to take a back seat. Mike Leake will be Cincinnati's No. 5 starter.
