Carson Palmer had a huge day throwing the ball, paving the way to a rout for the Cardinals over the Colts, 40-11, at home.
Palmer put together a solid game, going 26 for 37 with 314 yards passing, two touchdowns and no interceptions. In comparison, Andrew Luck did not have as good a day for the Colts, going 20 of 39 with 163 yards passing, one touchdown and one pick.
Rashard Mendenhall carried the ball 13 times for 54 yards with a touchdown in addition to one reception for 24 yards. Larry Fitzgerald was a top receiver, catching five passes for 52 yards with two touchdowns.
The Arizona defensive unit led the way to a victory, allowing only 80 yards rushing and 163 passing. They were able to get to Luck for one sack.
Colts tight end Coby Fleener had a big day with 55 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Next week, the Cardinals travel to Philadelphia to face the Eagles (6-5) while the Colts are at home against the Titans (5-6).
