New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony missed his second straight game when he sat out Monday's game against the Rockets because of a sprained ankle.
Anthony injured his ankle Thursday night in a game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Knicks coach Mike Woodson said Monday he's not sure whether Anthony will play in Wednesday's game against the Nets.
Anthony is averaging 27.9 points and 6.4 rebounds per game this season.
The Knicks also were without veteran forward Rasheed Wallace (sore left foot) on Monday night for a second straight game.
