Andrew Ference's brewery releases new beer for Oilers nation

Former NHL defenceman Andrew Ference knows all about the buzz of playoff hockey, and now he’s helping Oilers fans catch their own buzz.

The Edmonton, Alberta, native spent parts of 15 seasons in the NHL, playing over 900 games with Boston, Calgary and Edmonton. Now enjoying retirement, Ference is focused on running and co-owning Polar Park Brewing, a craft Brewery in Edmonton. With the Oilers in the playoffs for the first time since 2006, the 38-year-old’s company just released a new beer specifically for the diehard’s that make Edmonton such a special place come playoff time.


Polar Park also released a Connor McDavid-themed brew in January, celebrating the sophomore captain’s breakthrough second season.
