Anderson Varejao finished with 16 and the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Milwaukee Bucks, 93-78. Cleveland (16-27) picked up the win after falling to Chicago Bulls on Wednesday.
Varejao shot 8-11 from the field, in a quality performance offensively. Other top performers for Cleveland were Tristan Thompson with 14 points and 10 rebounds, Dion Waiters with 13 points and 8 rebounds, and Kyrie Irving with 10 points and 10 assists. On 5-7 shooting, including 3-5 from behind the arc, Khris Middleton scored 13 points off the bench for Milwaukee in the loss.
This drops Milwaukee (8-34) to 1-2 against Cleveland on the year.
Coming up, the Cavaliers take on the Phoenix Suns, who are 24-17 on the season. The Bucks match up with the Atlanta Hawks, currently sitting at 22-20 this year.
