Amir Johnson put up 32 points and registered 10 rebounds, while DeMar DeRozan added 26 points and 5 rebounds to help the Toronto Raptors beat the Los Angeles Lakers, 106-94. Toronto (7-12) has won just three of its last 10 games.
Johnson finished 14-17, in an efficient offensive performance. Kyle Lowry chipped in 23 points and 8 assists for Toronto as well. Despite the loss, Nick Young scored 19 points off the bench for Los Angeles on 7-16 shooting, including 2-7 from behind the arc.
Los Angeles (10-10) could not get back-to-back victories after defeating Sacramento on Friday.
Coming up next, the Raptors play the San Antonio Spurs, who are 15-4 on the year. The Lakers go up against the Phoenix Suns, currently 11-9 this season.
