Amar'e Stoudemire: (Knee) Expected To Miss First Six Weeks Of Season Staff

Update: Stoudemire (knee) is expected to miss at least the first six weeks of the regular season, ESPN reports.

Recommendation: It's a tough break for Stoudemire, as it was originally thought his knee injury would keep him out only two-to-three weeks. Now it sounds like Stoudemire won't be back until mid-December, at the earliest, so Carmelo Anthony will likely be the man at power forward with Ronnie Brewer and Steve Novak seeing most of the run at small forward.
