AFC Leopards target Tusker defender

AFC Leopards have opened talks to sign Tusker defender Collins Shivachi.

Goal understands Ingwe coach Stewart Hall is a huge admirer of the Tusker defender, who was not used effectively by the Kenyan champions in 2016 season. A source privy to happenings at The Den as revealed that Shivachi could arrive at AFC Leopards as a replacement for Edwin Wafula.

“I cannot confirm anything for now but one thing I am sure of is that AFC Leopards have made contact with Shivachi. Hopefully the deal will go through.”

AFC Leopards official Oscar Igaida also confirmed that the team’s NEC will meet on Friday (today) to finalise on the transfer list left behind by coach Hall. “We have a list that Hall left to us before he travelled for holidays and we want to discuss it today. We also want to know which players will be released and those to be signed.”
