There will be no trained broadcasters on the call for Fox’s broadcast of the June 10 Xfinity Series race at Pocono.

The network said Friday that eight Cup Series drivers would handle the booth and pit road duties. 2014 Cup Series champion Kevin Harvick will serve as the play-by-play broadcaster and Joey Logano and Clint Bowyer will be his two analysts.

“This is something FOX Sports has talked about doing for a long time,” Fox Sports executive producer John Entz said. “Several of these competitors already have joined us in the NASCAR XFINITY SERIES booth and done a heck of a job, and we see a lot of promise in the newcomers. Regardless of their TV experience, we have one goal for all — go out and have a blast. As long as no one sets fire to the FOX Sports booth or pulls the plug that knocks us off the air, the drivers have free rein.”

While Harvick, Logano and Bowyer will be in the booth, Ryan Blaney, Erik Jones and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. will serve as pit reporters for the race. The two studio personalities at the infield production set for pre-race duties and race breaks will be Danica Patrick and Denny Hamlin.

Many of the drivers featured on the broadcast have done guest analyst work before. Fox has been rotating Cup drivers in as analysts for its Xfinity Series broadcasts since taking over the series’ TV contract in 2015. Harvick is the most seasoned of the group and has provided great insight in his time in the booth.

Fox said it will pay the drivers for their time via contributions to the drivers’ charities of choice.
