76ers-Trail Blazers Preview
Wells Fargo Center will host a meeting between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Portland Trail Blazers, the team with the best record in the Western Conference. With a 7-17 record, playoff hopes are fading away for the 76ers. While the 76ers have struggled all year, they have been especially cold lately, losing nine of their last 10 games. Entering the game with a 19-4 record, the Trail Blazers have been playing at a high level. They have been nearly unstoppable lately, winning eight out of their last 10. This game is slated to start at 8:00 pm EST and it will be covered by CSN-NW and CSN-PHI.
After their 108-100 loss to the Raptors, the 76ers are looking to avoid a repeat performance. Evan Turner put in a solid effort for Philadelphia, recording 21 points and 10 rebounds to earn his sixth double-double of the year. Meanwhile, the Trail Blazers are coming off a win against the Rockets, 111-104. LaMarcus Aldridge was one of the key players, accounting for 31 points and 25 rebounds to claim his 12th double-double so far this season.
The efficient offense of the Trail Blazers (first in the league with an offensive efficiency of 109.3) will look to pick apart the porous defense of the 76ers (29th in the NBA with a defensive efficiency of 156.1), a matchup that could favor Portland.
