6 Reasons to Love Million Dollar Listing New York's Fredrik Eklund, in Celebration of His 40th Birthday

Weeee! Fredrik Eklund turns 40 today!

The Million Dollar Listing New York star is celebrating a milestone birthday, and with the upcoming sixth season of his hit Bravo show, a close-knit group of friends (including an MDLNY alum and a RHONY cast member) and a boozy new business venture, there’s plenty for Eklund to toast to. Here, six reasons we love the reality TV realtor:

1. He has the best moves.

Eklund is always dancing like no one’s watching - although most of the time he shows off his moves in public hotspots like the grocery store and Central Park. But you won’t find us complaining. His Instagram video posts never fail to make our day.

2. And the best houses.

Whether it’s his luxe Tribeca apartment or his country home in Connecticut, Eklund and his partner, Derek Kaplan, have quite the eye for stunning interior design (not that we’re surprised).

3. And the best friends.

That feeling when you land in Paris and meet an old friend @luisdortiz (VOLUME )

Eklund is ultimate #friendshipgoals with Luis D. Ortiz, who announced he was leaving the show last year. Eklund is even visiting his former co-star in his new home of Paris to celebrate the big 4-0, posting this video of the duo dancing in front of the Eiffel Tower.

4. Also, the best clients.

Eklund teamed up with another of his famous friends, Real Housewives of New York’s Bethenny Frankel, to sell her New York City apartment. The pair sealed the deal on the $6.95 million pad for full asking price in just one day.

5. Plus, the best new business.

I think: this is life. This very moment is what it39;s all about. This is what I39;ve worked so hard for. I39;m finally here, in Florence with my family, on my way to Paris for my 40th birthday! - The High-Kick wine started with a dream over a year ago. A dream to enjoy my own premium Venetian rosé, a gorgeous bottle that symbolizes everything that I love about this life. The bottle-design itself was a real pain, endless discussions with the glass specialists about its unusual shape - it had to be this exact shape I told them and pointed at my detailed drawings! They told me it would cost too much, I told them to continue trying, that I refuse everything but perfection. I look at it now, with the bridge of Ponte Vecchio behind it in the sunset, the reflection in it, and I hope you can agree with me it39;s pretty darn good looking? - It39;s no secret I39;ve always been obsessed with rosé wine, so when creating my own it had to be absolutely perfect. Everything about it. It had to be light, almost weightless, fresh and elegant with a hint of strawberries and citrus. The fruit was so important, and so difficult to achieve, the perfect balance between dry and sweet, the grapes coming together like magic. I wanted something from celebrations up in mega-penthouses in New York, to grilling by the pond with the dogs running freely in Connecticut, to be able to share it served cold with the best of friends in exotic locations all over the world. - I39;m so incredibly happy with the final result, the color, the gold leaf packaging, the heavy bottle, a liquid piece of me and my dreams. The first limited batch of 12,000 bottles went online yesterday and most likely won39;t last beyond the weekend unfortunately. We are now producing more, a lot more, which will be available in more countries soon, I promise. I apologize in advance that not everyone will be able to order at this moment in time. But remember, these first bottles were made with a lot of high-kicking love, really and truly. I made them for myself, and it39;s feels beyond amazing to finally be able to share them with you on my birthday weekend. High-kick! Link in bio. - XO /Fredrik

While in Paris, Eklund took to Instagram to reveal his latest project: A line of wine aptly named “High Kick Rose” in tribute to his signature dance move.

6. And finally, the best puppy pal.

Eklund’s dog Mini is the absolute cutest. No further evidence needed.

Here’s wishing Fredrik a year filled with dance breaks and million dollar sales!
