The San Francisco 49ers' game at the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, Dec. 23 has been moved to "Sunday Night Football" as part of the NFL's "flex" scheduling.
The San Diego Chargers' game at the New York Jets, originally scheduled to be the "SNF" broadcast at 8:20 p.m. ET, will move to 1 p.m. on CBS. The New York Giants' game at the Baltimore Ravens will move from 1 p.m. to 4:25 p.m. on FOX.
FOX protected the Giants-Ravens game and CBS protected the Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers, leaving the 49ers-Seahawks tilt as the likely game to get flexed into primetime.
San Francisco will now play consecutive road games on Sunday night. The 49ers (9-3-1) travel to the New England Patriots this Sunday night while the Seahawks (8-5) play at the Buffalo Bills, leaving the possibility that the Week 16 game could be for the division lead in the NFC West.
San Francisco beat Seattle at home, 13-6, on Thursday night in Week 7.
