Rundown: Thompson signed with Missouri out of high school back in 2013, but left the program and took an absence from football. He came back on the recruiting scene as a 2017 prospect but recently reclassified to 2018. Thompson will graduate this December with three years to play two. Thompson spoke very highly of Colorado when speaking with CUSportsNation.com and hopes to visit Boulder this summer for an official visit.

Rundown: Bynum is a defensive end prospect out of Oregon that the Colorado coaching staff really likes. CU head coach Mike MacIntyre offered Bynum recently, and Bynum could visit Boulder this summer. Bynum holds nine Pac-12 offers, including both in-state schools, so the Buffs have their work cut out to land the 6-foot-5, 250-pounder.

No. 3 Stephan Baylock

Rundown: Oregon, Nebraska, and UCLA are early frontrunners for the four-star California cornerback, but the Colorado staff is targeting Blaylock and cannot be counted out of his recruitment. He was teammates with Buffs' signee Jacob Callier, so Blaylock has familiarity there with Colorado.

No. 2 Eli'Jah Winston

Rundown: Winston is being recruited by Colorado defensive line coach Jim Jeffcoat and has a high view of the Buffs' staff. Colorado has caught Winston's attention after their superb 2016 season. It will be key for Colorado to continue to show Winston that he's a priority for their 2018 recruiting class as well as getting Winston on campus this summer or this fall for an official visit.

Rundown: Jackson is the No. 1 rated recruit in the state of Colorado for the 2018 class. In a recent interview by Rivals.com, Jackson said that "Ohio State, Oregon, UCLA, and probably TCU" are the schools standing out in his recruitment. However, the Buffs will be a factor in his recruitment as the big in-state school, especially if they have a great season in 2017.
