It’s not easy to find reusable masks that are comfortable, breathable, stylish and versatile. But we found them! Footwear brand New Republic has repurposed their factory in Los Angeles to make the LBD of face masks—and we couldn’t be more excited.
They’re inexpensive too—you can score a three-pack for $12—just $4 a mask!
Available in black, they’re simple and classic so they’ll go with just about everything in your wardrobe. And they look just as cool with a pair of sweats as they do with a fancier ensemble.
Besides being made in the good ole USA, what else is special about these masks? The masks are stretchy, so they’re designed to fit comfortably over your nose and mouth—no matter the size of your head. Big noggins are welcome. And they’re made from 100 percent 2-ply cotton, so they fit the CDC’s guidelines for having two layers of fabric between you and the outside world.
“There's a bit of stretch to them that makes them pretty comfortable to wear, as comfortable as a face mask can be I suppose,” wrote a five-star reviewer. “We're probably going to have to wear face masks for a while in CA so I may be purchasing more down the line if they're still available.”
“Most masks are completely miserable to wear. Not these ones! Highly breathable, super soft and almost a perfect fit. I have a rather large head and at first they were very tight, but within the first hour they stretched a bit to fit perfectly,” shared a satisfied Amazon shopper.
“The material is soft, durable and holds up through washing, much like a comfy tee,” added another five-star shopper. “They are a simple design, nothing fancy, and that's just what I wanted for comfort's sake. I also love that they're made in the USA in a re-purposed factory.”
