The Nets waived guards Chris Chiozza and Elle Okobo, as well as forward Paul Eboua, on Saturday, the team announced.

Chiozza joined the Nets in January after signing a two-way contract with the team; he was then re-signed on Dec. 1.

The 25-year-old tallied 6.4 points per game along with 3.4 assists for Brooklyn last year, and shot 42.5 percent from the field. He also hit 35.7 percent of his shots from three-point land.

In Brooklyn's Dec. 13 preseason game against the Washington Wizards, he scored eight points, grabbed two rebounds, and dished out two assists in nine minutes off the bench.

Brooklyn's roster now stands at 17 players, three days before they open their season against the Golden State Warriors out in the Bay Area.
