With the Brooklyn Nets shopping superstars Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, the team is analyzing their roster from top to bottom and sharpshooter Joe Harris is an essential piece to a postseason push.

NBA insider Zach Lowe reported on Harris’ health:

“From what I’ve heard, Joe Harris’ ankle is feeling good and I don’t really understand how we went from ‘Joe Harris: essential role player’ to ‘Joe Harris: sunk cost, nobody wants him.'”

Reportedly the Nets are trying everything in their power to hold onto the sharpshooting role player. The team wants to keep Harris as he is considered a valuable contributor.

Harris only played 14 games last season averaging 11 points per game, before he tore his ankle ligament. In the previous three seasons, Harris averaged about 14 points, while shooting a career-high 47 percent in the 2020-21 campaign.

The Nets will do everything they can to keep the sharpshooter on their roster but with trade offers from half the league pouring in, I’m sure Harris will be brought up in conversations.
