James Harden will miss Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Milwaukee Bucks, Nets head coach Steve Nash announced Wednesday.

"James will miss Game 3, but he's progressing nicely as well," Nash said over Zoom. "We're optimistic that we can have him back at some point, but we can't set a time on that yet."

Harden has been out since the beginning of Game 1, when he pulled his hamstring while driving in the paint and is dealing with a strain.

He dealt with a similar hamstring issue during the season that caused him to miss over a month of games.

Nash also said that Jeff Green will miss Thursday's game, but that there's a strong chance he returns in this series.
