Nets at Heat preview: How to watch, TV channel, start time
The Brooklyn Nets (6-5) visit Kaseya Center on Thursday to take on the Miami Heat (7-4) in the second of four matchups between the two teams this season and if you’re wondering how you can watch all the action live, you’ve come to the right place!
The Nets come into this matchup fresh off a 124-104 In-Season Tournament win over the Orlando Magic on Tuesday in which Brooklyn used a dominant fourth quarter to put the game away. Brooklyn will be missing Ben Simmons (back) and Cam Thomas (ankle) for this matchup and it’s to be determined whether either player will be back for the Nets.
The Heat enter this contest coming off a close 111-105 win over the Charlotte Hornets in which Jimmy Butler dropped 32 points and five assists to get Miami over the top despite LaMelo Ball and PJ Washington combining for 60 points. Miami will be missing their second-leading scorer, Tyler Herro, for this game due to an ankle injury.
In the first matchup between these teams, a 109-105 win by the Nets on Nov. 1, Mikal Bridges had 21 points to lead the team in scoring, but Brooklyn’s bench was the difference-maker in the game as Lonnie Walker IV, Armoni Brooks, and Trendon Watford combined for 45 of the Nets’ 109 points scored. Miami couldn’t get much production out of anyone outside of its big three in Herro, Butler, and Bam Adebayo.
