The Nets are set to get one of their stars back.

Head coach Steve Nash said Thursday that James Harden is officially out of health and safety protocol. He can play on Christmas on Saturday against the Los Angeles Lakers alongside Patty Mills, who up until now was the only member of the regular starting five who hasn't been in COVID protocol.

And Harden isn't the only one out of protocol, as Paul Millsap and Jevon Carter also come in as reinforcements.

Kevin Durant, LaMarcus Aldridge and DeAndre' Bembry are still in protocol. Nash said that David Duke Jr., Cam Thomas and Kessler Edwards entered protocol as well.

Finally, Nash touched on another player in protocol right now: Kyrie Irving. The star point guard, whom Brooklyn has welcomed back to play road games after reconsideration, will need a ramp-up period once he's out of protocol.

Nash mentioned it could be with the "stay ready" group of Nets just to get his handles and feet back under him.
