Nets’ Ben Simmons not listed on injury report for Tuesday’s game against the Spurs

Brooklyn Nets guard Ben Simmons is not listed on the official NBA injury report for Tuesday’s game against the San Antonio Spurs. That implies that Simmons is available to help Brooklyn end their current two-game losing streak. He missed Sunday’s 112-102 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder with back soreness.

Simmons has missed 11 games this season with various injuries, most of them related to his knee and back. After Sunday’s loss, Nets head coach Jacque Vaughn said that Simmons was not scheduled for an MRI which indicated that the medical staff was not concerned enough about Simmons’ back to schedule the exam.

Brooklyn comes into Tuesday’s game 4.5 games out of first place in the Eastern Conference. They have won seven of their past 10 games, but have lost their last two after being out-scored in the two fourth quarters by a combined 21 points against the Boston Celtics and Thunder.
