Neighbours star Jodi Anasta hints at Elly Conway returning for Chloe
Neighbours spoilers follow for UK-pace episodes on Channel 5.
Neighbours star Jodi Anasta has hinted why Elly Conway may potentially return to the soap one day.
The character will say her goodbyes to her friends and family in Ramsay Street this week as she sets off with Shaun and their daughter Aster to start a new life in Switzerland.
Her final scenes will see her say an emotional goodbye to Bea Nilsson (Bonnie Anderson), who's supportive but secretly heartbroken by her decision to leave the country.

However, it's just Bea who will be hurt by her departure. Elly's best mate and ex-girlfriend Chloe Brennan (April Rose Pengilly) will also be sad to see her go, but according to Anasta, their relationship might be the reason Elly returns to the to Ramsay Street in the future.
"Hopefully Elly comes back some day for Chloe!" she laughingly told Inside Soap.
"My exit has arrived at the right time, and although all the 'Chelly' fans are sad I'm leaving the show, I wouldn't close the chapter on the couple just yet – because I certainly haven't."

Anasta returned to Melbourne to film her final scenes after lockdown ended in Australia, adding: "It's the perfect way for Elly to leave and I'm really happy. And it's been nice to go back and film the focus on the next step of Elly's life.
Neighbours airs these scenes on Wednesday, July 29 and Friday, July 31 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
