Nebraska soccer remains undefeated with 4-1 win over UC Davis

The No. 24 Nebraska soccer team returned home looking to continue its electrifying start to the season. The Huskers welcomed UC Davis to Lincoln and delivered another high-powered showing offensively, winning 4-1.

The duo of Sarah Weber and Eleanor Dale led the charge for Nebraska, each scoring two goals in the match. Weber and Dale each scored a goal in the first half before the Aggies cut the lead down to 2-1. The duo scored again in the second half, cementing Nebraska’s win.

Dale’s couple of goals especially left a mark on the night as she continues to have a big week. After surpassing her season total in goals of the last two seasons, her second goal on the night put her up to 10 on the season in just seven matches.

The Huskers improved to 6-0-1, continuing their best start since 2000. The team will remain home for the weekend as it welcomes St. Louis, a team that’s clashed with multiple ranked teams already. The match is set for 1:05 p.m. and can be viewed on B1G+.
