Depth Chart Overview

As the number one ranked JUCO running back in the country, Grant will come in with high expectations. He has already proven himself to be a productive player at the college level. Grant averaged a blistering 7.2 yards per carry last season at New Mexico Military Institute. In 2021, he was named the NJCAA Football Division I Offensive Player of the Year.

Grant will have to compete for snaps with Rahmir Johnson, Jaquez Yant, and Gabe Ervin Jr. Due to his past performance, Johnson is the safest bet to lead Nebraska’s backfield, but Grant is certainly a player to watch.
