Nebraska’s Casey Thompson turns scramble drill into long completion

·1 min read

Casey Thompson turned seeming disaster into prosperity as Nebraska played Northwestern in Dublin, Ireland, to open the college football season.

Thompson appeared to be in trouble in the third quarter before throwing a deep ball to a wide-open Isaiah Garcia-Castaneda.

The transfer from New Mexico State hauled in the pass and took off to turn the play into a gain of 58 yards.
