Fans spoke and Good Humor (finally) listened.

Yesterday, nearly three decades after Viennetta cakes disappeared from U.S. shelves, the ice cream giant announced that the beloved dessert will be making its triumphant return in 2021.

"Fans have clamored for Viennetta's return for almost 30 years, and in 2021, Good Humor grants their wish," the brand proclaimed.

The ice cream cake that rose to popularity in the 90s, features decadent-looking layers of ice cream and frozen chocolate. Now, it's coming back in its classic Vanilla Viennetta form which combines a "wavy frozen vanilla base between crispy, decadent chocolate layers in a unique cake shape that is perfectly portioned for an entire family to share."

They’re all under $100.

Good Humor shared the exciting Viennetta news along with the announcement of 25 innovations across six of its packaged ice cream and frozen novelty brands, including the rollout of new Talenti and Breyers flavors and a Klondike donut.

"Now available in major retailers nationwide, these new creations include reimagined nostalgic treats, the expansion of several fan-favorite lines, uniquely indulgent flavors, and formats, and better-for-you options for every occasion and ice cream fan," the brand wrote.

2021 is off to a pretty good start!
