      Marquette women fall in first round of NCAA tournament

      (MARQUETTE ATHLETICS) SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Marquette University women's basketball team fell to seventh-seeded Ole Miss, 67-55, on Saturday in the NCAA Tournament First Round. “I can't say enough about my team and their effort and grit today and really across the whole season,” head coach Megan Duffy said. “I feel for our seniors right now who won't get another shot to play a game.
