WVU doubled their lead in the 31st minute when Thiesen stepped up to the penalty spot and scored to give the Mountaineers a 2-0 lead. Pineda tallied the final goal of the match in the 36th minute, scoring off a feed from Morgantown High School alum Elijah Borneo.
