Very little went wrong for the Texas Longhorns on Saturday night during their 59-3 throttling of the UTEP Miners, at least in between the lines. But amid all of the celebration, it appears that a former highly-touted recruit and key contributor may be on his way out of the program, as Orangebloods’ Anwar Richardson reported that Longhorns junior safety B.J. Foster quit the team during the third quarter. Per Richardson’s report, Foster was unhappy with his playing time against UTEP.
It’s the first game week for the Texas Longhorns, which means Texas head coach Tom Herman addressed the media ahead of the season-opening matchup against the UTEP Miners. Because of process changes, live video of the weekly press conference will not be available on Texas Sports, but you can watch it live on Longhorn Network or listen via the Longhorn Radio Network.
