New Mississippi College football coach believes Choctaw program has great potential

New Mississippi College head football coach Mike Kershaw spent the last five seasons as wide receivers coach at Rice University. “I really feel like Mississippi College is a place that's ready to explode, so that's kind of the main reason I took this area,” he said. Kershaw is no stranger to Mississippi, he played for and later coached at Delta State, leading the team to a Gulf South Conference championship as quarterback in 1998, and the NCAA Division-II National Championship semi-final coaching quarterbacks, wide receivers, and safeties in 2006.
