Six months after proclaiming he hadn’t been in love with football since high school, Thiyo Lukusa has apparently once again found his fondness for the sport. On his Instagram account this week, Lukusa revealed that he has decided to transfer to Arizona and continue his collegiate playing career with the Wildcats. It’s believed the offensive lineman won’t be eligible to play in 2017.
Over the weekend, Colorado cornerback Anthony Julmisse was arrested on charges of robbery, first-degree criminal trespass of a vehicle, criminal mischief and careless driving. While no details were available at the time, the Boulder Daily Camera is now reporting that the arrest and charges are related to an incident in which Julmisse, who was driving a friend’s car because the friend was too drunk to drive, rear-ended another vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle, after Julmisse offered him money, took pictures of the damage and then returned to his car. The driver of the Corolla said Julmisse suddenly reached through the open window of the cars and snatched the phone from him before the SUV drove off.
Following an investigation into alleged sexual assaults at an on-campus party last month, NC State has dismissed two players from the program while suspending three others for student-athlete code of conduct violations. The two dismissed players, Antoine Thompson and Kevince Brown, are no longer enrolled at the university. Isaiah Moore, Erin Collins and Xavier Lyas have all been suspended by coach Dave Doeren.
