Savannah State falls to Albany State in the inaugural Coastal City HBCU Classic

Savannah State (2-2) fell to Albany State (2-2) 15-12 in the highly anticipated inaugural Coastal City HBCU Classic Saturday. This game started out as a defensive battle as neither team was able find the endzone in the first half. Savannah State's kenneth lockhart put the only points on the board with field goal early in the first quarter as the tigers trail 9-3 at the break. To begin the second half Savannah State relyed more on their passing game after being unable to gain a lot of positive rushing yards.
