I have to ask you one more time.

Wouldn't a playoff be better?

Michigan probably is the better team. Florida probably is more deserving. What is definite is that we'll never know for sure who should be playing Ohio State in the championship game.

When the head of the Bowl Championship Series, SEC commissioner Mike Slive, states that Florida deserves to be in the national championship game before the final BCS standings even come out, doesnt that demand that we need to change the system?

On Saturday, University of Florida president Bernie Machen said he will lobby for a playoff regardless of where his Gators ended up on Sunday. I hope he follows through with his promise. When the head coaches of Michigan and Florida are on record for wanting a playoff, doesnt that suggest there is a problem?

I could go on and on and on.

Instead, for one last time, feast your eyes on what we could be watching during the holidays if the top schools in the final BCS standings instead comprised an eight-team playoff.
