Last night, I stayed up until 2 a.m. to watch an AAU game that was centered around a pair of kids who were born post-2000. Never did I think that’s how I would be spending a Wednesday night, but here at Mid-Major Madness, we’re all about going the extra mile to give you the good content that you desire. This game had just about everything you want, unless what you wanted was defense, chest passes, or made free throws. Yet here I am, feeling a need to write a post about Nick Saban and the college football playoff. At the Q&A session at the end of Commissioner Jon Steinbrecher’s speech, someone asked about the chances of a MAC team making the playoffs.
