At 7:00 PM tonight, the Deacs travel to Historic Riggs Field to face the No. Clemson Tigers in a battle between two of the top teams in the ACC and the country. The Demon Deacons will travel to South Carolina with a 3-0-0 record and the nation’s top ranking, while the Tigers sport a 2-1-0 record and the nation’s third ranking.
The third-ranked Clemson men’s soccer team (2-0) is set to travel to Chapel Hill, N.C., to contest its first ACC match of the season against the North Carolina Tar Heels (1-0, 1-0 ACC). The match will be played at Dorrance Field on Friday, Oct. 9, with kickoff set for 6 p.m. Friday’s match will be the 63rd all-time meeting between the two sides, with Clemson holding a 29-27-6 advantage in the series.
