NCAA tournament odds, prop bets: Vegas likes Michigan, takes action on Deandre Ayton ban
The NCAA tournament has arrived, and that means Las Vegas is open for business.
Sports books are preparing for one of their busiest weekends of the year and finding all sorts of ways to take money from sports fans willing to wager.
This year, that means opportunities to bet on NCAA violations popping up in March to ruin the fun. BetDSI has laid odds on several violation bets, including whether Arizona star Deandre Ayton gets suspended (+2,000) in the wake of the scandal around head coach Sean Miller.

Villanova is BetDSI’s initial favorite, while Michigan is expected to overplay its No. 3 seed as the No. 5 betting favorite behind only Villanova, Duke, Virginia, and Michigan State. The Wolverines are heavy favorites over higher seeds Kansas, Xavier and North Carolina.
