Chicago, IL (January 6, 2021)NBC Sports Chicago – THE EXCLUSIVE, LOCAL HOME of the CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS – has announced its 2020-21 NHL regular season coverage details featuring 50 Blackhawks games (25 home, 25 road), live streaming of EVERY GAME and surrounding Blackhawks Pre/Postgame Live coverage to authenticated subscribers via NBCSportsChicago.com and the “MyTeams by NBC Sports” app, along with massive season-long, fan-focused digital/audio Blackhawks content offerings. NBC Sports Chicago’s 2020-21 NHL regular season Blackhawks game night coverage schedule gets underway on Friday, January 15, as the visiting Blackhawks face the defending Stanley Cup champion Tampa Bay Lightning live from Amalie Arena in Tampa, Fla.  Game night coverage begins at 5:30 PM CT with Blackhawks Pregame Live presented by ChevyDrivesChicago.com.  Veteran Blackhawks expert/host Pat Boyle (@BoyleNBCS) will be joined by studio analysts, former Blackhawks defensive standout Steve Konroyd (@Stevekonroyd) and Blackhawks Community Liaison/2013 Stanley Cup champion Jamal Mayers (@jamalmayers), for a complete pre-game analysis and roster match-up breakdown.  Puck drop takes place at 6:00 PM featuring the always-entertaining game call from the Hall of Fame tandem of Pat Foley and Eddie Olczyk.  Immediately following the game, fans can look forward to an expanded edition of Blackhawks Postgame Live presented by Hyundai featuring Blackhawks head coach Jeremy Colliton’s live post-game press conference, along with post-game player reaction, expanded highlights, studio “demo” area analysis, a preview of upcoming opponents and much more.  NOTES: Blackhawks legend/three-time Stanley Cup Champion Patrick Sharp (@10PSharp) and former Blackhawks winger/2010 Stanley Cup Champion Adam Burish will also serve as additional Blackhawks studio analysts throughout the season.  Among the 50 Blackhawks games on NBC Sports Chicago’s telecast schedule also includes the team’s HOME OPENER on Friday, January 22 against the Original Six rival (and new Central Division foe) Detroit Red Wings.  Home opener coverage begins with Blackhawks Pregame Live at 6:30 PM, face-off at 7:00 PM followed by Blackhawks Postgame Live at 9:30 PM (time approx.).

On Wednesday, January 13, NBC Sports Chicago will deliver special surrounding Opening Night pre/post coverage of NBCSN’s “Wednesday Night Hockey” NHL lineup headlined by the Blackhawks facing the Lightning at 7:00 PM CT.  NBC Sports Chicago/NBCSportsChicago.com/”MyTeams by NBC Sports” app will carry a special Opening Night edition of Blackhawks Pregame Live presented by ChevyDrivesChicago.com at 6:30 PM featuring Boyle, Konroyd and Mayers for a thorough game preview, along with player/coaches interviews and game predictions.  As soon as the game ends on NBCSN (approx. 9:30 PM), fans can flip back to NBC Sports Chicago for Blackhawks Postgame Live presented by Hyundai for post-game analysis, player/coaches reaction and game highlights.  NOTE: In addition to the January 13 season opener, five additional, nationally-exclusive Blackhawks telecasts will air on NBC/NBCSN (schedule subject to change): Sun, Jan. 24 vs. Detroit (11:30 AM – NBC), Wed, Jan. 27 at Nashville (6:30 PM – NBCSN), Wed, Feb. 17 at Detroit (6:30 PM – NBCSN), Sun, Feb. 28 vs. Detroit (6:00 PM – NBCSN) and Wed, Apr. 21 vs. Nashville (6:00 PM – NBCSN).

In addition, on Tuesday, January 12 at 6:00 PM CT, Blackhawks fans can look forward to a sneak preview of the upcoming NHL season with the Blackhawks Season Preview Special presented by ChevyDrivesChicago.com.  Hosted by Boyle, along with analysis via Konroyd and Mayers, this half-hour special will have fans fully prepped for the upcoming season featuring a comprehensive look at this year’s Blackhawks roster, a recap of all the off-season moves, along with season predictions and special guest interviews.  NOTE: The Blackhawks Season Preview Special is also scheduled to re-air later in the evening on Jan. 12 at 10:00 PM and on Wed, Jan. 13 at 3:30 PM.
