Michael Malone was a self-described “punk” when he first arrived at Seton Hall Prep for his junior year of high school in 1986. Thirty-eight years later, Malone, 52, is the coach of the reigning NBA champion Denver Nuggets, after a head coaching stint with the Sacramento Kings and assistants jobs with the New York Knicks, Cleveland Cavaliers, New Orleans Hornets and Golden State Warriors.
