Drummond had a team-best 20 points and 11 rebounds hustling in the paint, while McLemore dazzled with five straight field goals in the second half on his way to 17 points. It was dramatic considering who wasn’t available: LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Kyle Kuzma, Marc Gasol and Wesley Matthews. But the victory may have taught the Lakers more about themselves than any other this season.
Kyrie Irving was ejected following a verbal confrontation with the Lakers' Dennis Schroeder and his Nets teammates failed to respond in a 126-101 blowout loss. Head Coach Steve Nash and Jeff Green didn't shed much light on the ejection but Kevin Durant was pretty blunt about the game itself. 'They came out and hit us in the mouth. They're the champs, you gotta respect it'.
"Once I won a championship, I realized that, like, my view on this game is really about development."
