Kevin Knox got the start on Wednesday and scored 19 points on 7-of-15 shooting with seven rebounds, three 3-pointers, two blocks and one assist 33 minutes.
Advice: The rookie was coming off a 26 & 15 game and New York is all about developing the young guys, so it'd be surprising if he doesn't stick as a starter. The bad news is that prior to this week he'd been brutal for percentages (35.0% FGs, 65.2% FTs) while contributing a mere 3.8 boards, 0.5 steals and 0.3 blocks. He's improved recently and said the game is starting to slow down for him, though, so he's worth grabbing to see if he stays hot.
David Fizdale said he's contemplating starting Kevin Knox over Mario Hezonja for Wednesday's game against the Cavs.
Advice: Knox started the second half of Sunday's game and came through with 26 points and 15 rebounds across 41 minutes, so it'll be interesting to see if he gets the start tonight. He's been woefully inconsistent this year, but Hezonja has been fairly terrible as a starter, so it would make sense to give the rookie some more run. Stay tuned.
Kevin Knox will get the start on Wednesday against the Cavs.
Advice: This has been expected since Sunday after Knox started the third quarter over Mario Hezonja. Knox has been hot as a scorer since Dec. 1, ranking second among rookies in scoring at 15.6 points per game and third in boards at 7.2. He's still going to have some gaping holes to his fantasy game for a lack of defensive stats with poor FG%, but feel free to give him a look with his new opportunity. He should be owned in points leagues.

Kevin Knox started the second half of Sunday's game and finished with 26 points, a career-high 15 rebounds, four 3-pointers and one steal in 41 minutes.
Advice: The playing time was also a career-high mark, and he joins LeBron James as the only teenagers in league history to notch 25 & 15 in a game. Inconsistency is still an issue, predictably for a rookie, but in five December games he's averaging 15.6 points, 2.2 triples, 7.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists. He's shooting poorly and there aren't many defensive stats, but there's enough upside here to grab him in deeper leagues.
