  • Bam Adebayo had 12 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocks in 29 minutes of Monday's loss to the Lakers.
Advice: Bam's been fantastic in his three starts since Hassan Whiteside left the team for the birth of his child, but Whiteside sounds likely to play on Wednesday. Even if it happens, Adebayo may be worth hanging onto, as we still don't know what the fallout is from Whiteside leaving the bench early in the last game he played in.

  • Bam Adebayo scored 14 points (7-of-10 FG) with eight rebounds, four assists, one steal and one blocked shot in 29 minutes Saturday against the Clippers.
Advice: Adebayo encountered more resistance Saturday after scoring a career-high 22 points Friday against the Suns, beginning with the Clippers starting Boban Marjanovic at center. But the second-year pro managed to still be effective, throwing down a couple emphatic dunks in the fourth quarter as the Heat pulled away. His opportunities to produce should remain plentiful until Hassan Whiteside (personal) returns to the team.

  • Bam Adebayo erupted in the starting lineup against the Suns on Friday during a 115-98 win on Friday, scoring a career-high 22 points with 10 rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and no turnovers in 32 minutes.
Advice: He set his career-high in the first half as the Suns didn't want to defend him. Adebayo made 10-of-11 from the line for the most free throw makes in a game for his career and he made 6-of-9 from the field to make this an eight-cat gem. Adebayo is a much more well-rounded five, and he has vastly improved when he's away from the basket both as a scorer and to help his teammates move around off ball. Hassan Whiteside (personal) is likely to miss more time, so Bam will be a must-start player until Whiteside is back.

  • Bam Adebayo is listed as the starting center on Friday with Hassan Whiteside (personal) unavailable.
Advice: Kelly Olynyk also gets a nice boost with Whiteside out due to the birth of his child. He could miss Saturday's game and has no clear return date, so both Olynyk and Adebayo are strong streaming and DFS options in the short-term.

  • Bam Adebayo scored two points Sunday, going 1 of 2 from the field, as the Miami Heat topped the Utah Jazz 102-100. Adebayo pulled down two rebounds and added an assist, accumulating a plus-minus of +10 in his 14:01 on the floor. He added one block and one steal.

  • Bam Adebayo played just 14 minutes on Sunday, finishing with two points, two rebounds, one steal and one block in a win over the Jazz.
Advice: Hassan Whiteside played 35 minutes and a lot of the fourth quarter, which hasn't been happening, and it clearly hurt Adebayo tonight. Bam had scored in double figures in three of his last four games, and hit double digits rebounds in the same number of games, and came in averaging 11.2 points, 11.4 boards and 1.0 blocks over his previous five games. Tonight was a big disappointment, but we doubt coach Erik Spoelstra is ready to just turn Whiteside loose in the fourth quarter going forward. Adebayo should bounce back in the next one.
