Here are your Nets player grades following Wednesday's 114-113 win over the Atlanta Hawks.
Dorian Finney-Smith shot just 30.6% from 3-point range over his first 26 regular-season games with the Nets last season after arriving in Brooklyn in a deal that sent then-disgruntled guard Kyrie Irving to Dallas. While the forward made an immediate impact in a starting role with the Nets, he obviously did not make the best first impression in terms of showcasing his ability to stretch the floor. A 36.1% 3-point shooter over his first six seasons with the Mavericks after going undrafted out of Florida, Finney-Smith converted at a 39.1% clip in Philadelphia's four-game sweep of the Nets.
While many of you go about your Saturday with your mind's eye on the possibility of the Philadelphia Eagles knocking off both the Bills and Niners in a single week's window, it's Philadelphia 76ers fans who could use a real distraction today. Having now lost six of their last 10, Nick Nurse's crew could use an influx of health (they've also been without Kelly Oubre Jr., out since Nov. 10 with a rib fracture) and then an influx of talent. Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey were out Friday. HoopsHype's resident scoopsmen, Michael Scotto, has been a reporter to follow for Sixers' intel lately.
