Rodney Hood (toe) is questionable for Monday's game vs. the Bucks.
Advice: The toe injury kept him out of Saturday's game vs. the Wizards, and Jordan Clarkson also picked up an injury in that one and is considered questionable. That means we may see a heavy dose of Alec Burks who is coming off two impressive games in a row. Hood was doing some work at the morning shootaround and will likely be re-evaluated after warmups.
Rodney Hood (toe) scored three points with four rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and one triple in 20 minutes vs. the Bucks on Monday.
Advice: He was coming off a one-game absence, but didn't play much with the Cavs getting run out of the building. Hood has all the opportunity in the world but was averaging a mediocre 12.8 points with 2.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.2 triples prior to Monday. Surely you can find a better option on your wire.
Rodney Hood (toe) and Jordan Clarkson (back) will be game-time decisions for Monday's matchup with Milwaukee.
Advice: If Hood can't give it a go, Alec Burks will likely be looking at another start, and he'll get all the run he can handle if both Hood and Clarkson are unavailable. Jaron Blossomgame could also get another start, but Burks is the guy you want to target in fantasy hoops.
Rodney Hood (toe) will start on Monday against the Bucks.
Advice: He'll be returning from a one-game absence, and he'll be joined in the starting unit by Collin Sexton, Alec Burks, Cedi Osman and Tristan Thompson. With Hood back in action, Jaron Blossomgame will return to the second unit.
Rodney Hood scored three points Monday on 1-of-7 shooting as the Cleveland Cavaliers fell to the Milwaukee Bucks 108-92. Hood pulled down four rebounds and had two assists, accumulating a plus-minus of -14 in his 20:23 of playing time. He added one block and one steal. Hood went 1 of 3 from behind the arc.
Hood (sore right foot) will play in Monday's game at Milwaukee.
Advice: Hood hurt his foot Friday against Sacramento and sat out Saturday's game against Washington as a result. Alec Burks started in his place against the Wizards and recorded 14 points, seven rebounds and four assists.
Coach Larry Drew said he was unsure if Rodney Hood (sore right foot) will be available to play Saturday vs. Washington.
Advice: Hood exited Friday's loss to the Kings due to the foot issue and was unable to return. Alec Burks and Jordan Clarkson would be the primary beneficiaries if Hood is ruled out. Burks had 22/7/9 on Friday night in 38 minutes and Clarkson had 26/4/1 in 30 minutes.
Rodney Hood (toe) will not play Saturday against the Wizards.
Advice: He hurt his toe on Friday night and wasn't able to return. The Cavs are going to be very thin in the backcourt with George Hill traded away, so Collin Sexton, Jordan Clarkson, Cedi Osman and Alec Burks are headed for huge minutes. All of those guys are on the board as DFS plays while Burks is a decent add in competitive leagues.
Rodney Hood (right toe sprain) is listed as doubtful for Saturday's game vs. Washington.
Advice: Hood hurt his toe in Friday's loss to Sacramento and was unable to return to the contest. Both Alec Burks and Jordan Clarkson played well on Friday and will again see plenty of playing time if Hood is ruled out. Burks will be a popular streaming/DFS option, considering his surprising success since coming to Cleveland.
Rodney Hood (right foot) will not return to Friday's game.
Advice: Hood finishes with four points and one assist in 15 minutes. We should have more details soon and owners should consider him day-to-day for the time being. If he does miss time, both Alec Burks and Jordan Clarkson will be extra busy.
