  • J.J. Redick scored 10 points with three rebounds, one assist, one steal and one 3-pointer in 24 minutes against the Bulls on Thursday.
Advice: He struggled with his shot and only attempted three from deep. Coach Brett Brown said he's not tied to starting Markelle Fultz long term, so maybe Redick could get back in the first unit. That would likely help his value because he would be open a lot more, but Redick is more of a 3-pointers specialist.

  • J.J. Redick scored 16 points off the bench in Tuesday's season opener, adding two rebounds, one assist and two triples.
Advice: He started the second half just like coach Brett Brown said he would, and he played 30 minutes compared to 24 for Markelle Fultz. The second-year guard was a disappointment tonight, so it's possible Redick finds himself back in the first unit at some point. Either way, he should see close to 30 minutes each night on a team that needs 3-point shooting in the worst way -- the 76ers hit a combined 5-of-26 attempts tonight. It's worth noting that Redick came down on someone's foot and had a slight limp, but he ran it off and seemed fine after a couple plays.
  • Coach Brett Brown will bring J.J. Redick off the bench to start games, but will have him start in the second half.
Advice: Redick is still a big part of the Sixers offense, but the team wants to put Markelle Fultz in situations that are more comfortable for him. Both Redick and Fultz will hurt each other, but not enough to make either undesirable. Redick is an efficient, late-round 3-point shooter for fantasy purposes.
