Ex-Hawks legend Dominique Wilkins is a few months away from turning 50, but that hasn't stopped him — or his old man fast twitch muscle fibers — from throwing down the occasional one-handed slam for the good people of South Korea.
What you just watched there was the first game of the 2009 NBA Asia Challenge.
The KBL All-Stars defeated the NBA Generations team, comprised of NBA Legends ('Nique, chubby Vlade Divac, Tim Hardaway and Robert Horry(notes)) and top NBA D-League prospects, 114-98 in Seoul, Korea.
A tough loss, sure. But my old man is nearing 50 and he can barely get up and down a ladder anymore.
So let's see ...
'Nique: 31 points, eight rebounds and a few dunks.
Dad: Bad back and clogged rain gutters.
