Trey Kerby of The Blowtorch searches high and low across the Internet for NBA-related goods you never knew you needed. You know, phenomenal swag. Email Ball Don't Lie any relevant products you find here.
'Twas many moons ago that Commodore Skeets piloted the Ball Don't Lie ship to the premiere of LeBron James'(notes) documentary, "More Than a Game." Now, the flick is nearing its theatrical release, and as such, the promotional machine is in hyperdrive. There's been shoes, appearances, and most pertinent to today's discussion, the first song from the soundtrack. The song's called "Forever" and it's by LeBron's close friend (and Canadian) Drake. It features a few bros you might have heard of: Kanye West, Lil' Wayne and Eminem.
Clocking in at an absurd six minutes, the song serves for these stars to big-up themselves for a verse each (shocking). While I'm not too crazy about the hi-hats on the hook, the rest of the beat is on point. There's even buzzers throughout to tie it back in to LeBron's profession. In keeping with his recent output, Eminem absolutely kills this track, making his less capable counterparts seem almost amateur in comparison.
Pick up the track for free (Ed. note: song is full of NSFW language, kids), and you won't be disappointed. Unless, of course, you don't like rap music, in which case, you'll hate this track because it's rap music.
