Two great things about Tuesday night's preseason game between the New York Knicks and the New Jersey Nets: We learned that Amar'e Stoudemire(notes) does not mind having the top of his head touched — in this matter, and in this matter alone, he and Adrian Beltre are dissimilar — and we learned that Danilo Gallinari(notes) is fascinated by the texture of a non-coiffed human skull. The preseason's about learning, guys.
Best caption wins an absolutely terrifying home scalp waxing kit. Good luck.
In our last adventure: LeBron James feels a slight twinge. (Strong work on these, gang.)
Winner, give_and_go: LeBron: My hamstring is flaring up again.
Ref: That's your wrist.
LeBron: Oh, that's right. My wrist is flaring up again.
Ref: It was your elbow.
LeBron: Oh, that's right. My elbow is flaring up again.
Ref: Other elbow.
LeBron: Oh, that's right ...
Runner-up, thelegendarygregostertag: "I don't want to hear you cryin' about your wrist when I saw you writing tweets over there on the bench. Repetitive strain is serious business, son."
Second runner-up, Jaceman: The dream of all 29 teams not in Miami:
LBJ: My arm hurts ...
Ref: Another technical! You're out of the game!
