NBA Twitter reacts to Warriors’ bounce-back win vs. Magic, 126-95

After an upset loss to the San Antonio Spurs, the Golden State Warriors needed a bounce-back performance against the Orlando Magic to get back on track.

Yet, a slow start that included five turnovers gave the Warriors only a five-point advantage against the struggling Magic. However, the second quarter is where Golden State took advantage. The Warriors stretched their lead to 21 points before halftime behind the play of Steph Curry, Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole. Golden State’s trio outscored Orlando in the second quarter, 25-18.

As Curry and Wiggins surged in the second half, the Warriors coasted to a blowout victory at Chase Center, 126-95.

Curry led the way with a game-high 31 points on 8-of-16 shooting from the field with seven triples on 13 attempts from deep. The former two-time Most Valuable Player only trails Ray Allen by 15 for the NBA’s all-time record for most made 3-pointers. The reigning Western Conference Player of the Week added eight assists, three rebounds and two assists against the Magic.

Wiggins also caught fire from long-distance, drilling a career-high eight 3-pointers on 10 attempts. The Golden State forward finished the contest with 28 points on 9-of-17 shooting from the floor with three assists and three rebounds.

After the Warriors got back into the win column, the NBA Twitter community weighed in with different reactions. Here is a look at what fans and analysts were saying about Wiggins, Curry and the Warriors on Monday night.
